Terms & Conditions

The rules for using tangem.art and buying artwork, prints, licences, courses, workshops and commissions from Tangem Art.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website tangem.art (the “Website”) and any purchase of artwork, licences, prints, courses, workshops or commissions (the “Services”) from Tangem Art.

The Website is operated by Papelería Art, trading as Tangem Art (“Tangem”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registration number 834742934, with its address at Hôtel Tangama, Dalaba, Mamou Region, Republic of Guinea.

By using the Website or ordering any Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. Students under 18 may join courses with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Use of the Website

You agree not to:

  • use the Website for any unlawful purpose;
  • copy, download in bulk, scrape or redistribute our artwork or content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems;
  • submit false, misleading, offensive or spam messages through the contact form;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code.

4. Artwork display and descriptions

We try to display and describe artwork as accurately as possible. Colours may vary between screens and between screen and print. Sizes, formats and other details stated in your quotation take priority over general descriptions on the Website.

5. Quotations and orders

Our Website does not process payments directly. Orders are made by enquiry:

  1. you send an enquiry;
  2. we send a written quotation stating the price, currency, format, licence, delivery method and timeline;
  3. a contract is formed when you accept the quotation and we confirm receipt of payment (or the agreed deposit).

Quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. We may decline any order at our discretion before a contract is formed.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are stated in the quotation and include or exclude taxes as indicated. You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or bank charges in your country unless stated otherwise. We accept payment in cash only — in person or as cash on delivery (COD) where available. A receipt is issued for every payment. Digital files and course access are released after payment is received; for COD orders, the full amount must be paid in cash to the courier or our representative when the order is handed over.

7. Digital products and licences

Digital artwork is supplied under a licence, not a sale of copyright. Your permitted use is described in our Licensing & Copyright page and in your quotation. Any use beyond the licence requires our written permission.

8. Prints and physical items

Prints are produced to order. Delivery estimates, shipping costs and risk of loss are described in our Delivery Policy.

9. Courses and workshops

Course and workshop details, schedules and fees are confirmed before enrolment or booking. We may reschedule a live session for reasons beyond our control; if so, we will offer an alternative date or a recording. Course materials are for the enrolled student’s personal use only. We do not guarantee any particular result, qualification or income from our courses.

10. Commissions

Commissions are governed by the brief and quotation agreed with you, including the deposit, number of revisions and timeline. Concepts and drafts remain our property until the final balance is paid.

11. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — artwork, text, designs, logos, the “Tangem” name and course materials — belongs to Papelería Art or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the Website for personal use only.

13. Third-party links and services

The Website may link to third-party websites or services (for example Google Maps or delivery partners). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or business arising from use of the Website or Services. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your order applies to that order.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith; if unresolved, it will be subject to the courts of the Republic of Colombia, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
